My name is Kyle Schmitz, currently I am a student studying Consumer Insights and Analytics in addition to Statistics and Actuarial Sciences below is some of my interests.

Personal Interest List

Hunting
- Hunting is a huge part of my life. One of the big reasons I like it is because of Nature. I get to go out into the woods and listen to all the animals and trees swaying with the wind. Especially in the Boundary Waters where there is way less people it is awesome just to go and explore.
- The Second reason is Family. Every year for deer hunting all the guys in the family go the first weekend and even if no one gets a deer, it's a time that we all can spend together and bond.
- Lastly the connection to nature and quiet of the woods is part of why I like it so much. It is so spiritual and when harvesting an animal even though it may be an emotional experience for some, it really gives you a sense of gratefulness of the Earth and Mother Nature.
Video Games
- Growing Up: For me growing up with video games was everything. I would always play Mario Cart with my siblings or Wii Sports and even when things got intense, we had a good time.
- Red Dead Redemption 2: This game was the first real "story" game I got into. It did not disappoint. I recommend literally every person to play this game because of the storytelling and grasp it has on the audience. It was really like no other.
- Fortnite: I have played this game the most out of any console game and the memories I made with my friends back in high school through this game was insane. From time to time a buddy from high school and I still play, but nothing like we did before when we got to the Champions league.
Basketball
- Sport: I loved the competitiveness of this sport and the teamwork involved. I used to play varsity at my high school and I loved it. Back then I used to only want to come to school to play basketball. It was good for me because I was never big enough to play football, but in basketball I could use my size and quickness to my advantage.
- Leisure: I enjoyed basketball so much I still play now whether that is just by myself in the gym or with friends. It is one of my hobbies.
- Friendship: The friendships I have made playing basketball are part of why I like playing so much. Meeting new people through AAU or Intramural Sports is a way I look to connect with new people.
